3 DAYS TRIP TO JINJA

Day 1:

TRAVEL TO JINJA

Pick up from your residence/ hotel by our company driver and head to Jinja, a stretch of about 80kms Eastern part of Uganda through Mukono town. Have a stop at Sezibwa cultural site, a hidden cultural treasure with a number of traditional attachment. While at Ssezibwa falls, you will experience fresh air coming from the tree canopies and also have spectacular views of brown and white waters which flow down the trees. You will also engage in a nature guided walk, this is a rewarding view of different bird species and some primates like the Black and white Colobus monkeys and Vervet Monkey seen swinging in the tree branches. From there you will proceed to Jinja town via Mabira forest.

Day 2

ITANDA FALLS AND SOURCE OF THE NILE

Early breakfast set off for a horse riding safari, this provides a fantastic way to explore the Banks of the Nile, see a traditional Ugandan village and view the stunning panorama from the hills overlooking the Nile River valley. Have lunch and take a Boat ride tour to the Actual source of the River Nile and get to the spot where the River Nile leaves Lake Victoria.  You can also visit the reptile village at the source then visit the mahatma Gandhi monument. OR

Early breakfast set off for to Itanda Falls, to see the prolific rapids at kalagala you will have a chance of taking a cup of tea or any drink in their beautiful bar constructed in the middle of the waterfalls. We will have an early lunch here before proceeding back to Jinja.  Later return to take a Boat ride tour to the Actual source of the River Nile and get to the spot where the River Nile leaves Lake Victoria.  You can also visit the reptile village at the source then visit the mahatma Gandhi monument. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight at

Day 3

TRAVEL BACK TO KAMPALA

Breakfast at leisure after which we will prepare to leave this part of the world and head back to Kampala with a stop in Mabira forest, Mabira is an eco- tourism site for a nature walk that will take 2-3 hrs and will extend to the Griffin falls, the natural spring within the forest, not forgetting the rich fauna of different species within the forest. We shall have lunch and later proceed to Kampala
