Day 1:

KAMPALA-BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

Pick up from your hotel after breakfast by the company driver and then travel to Bwindi impenetrable National park the home for the mountain gorillas. Stop by the Equator for a wonderful experience then proceed to Kabale, a beautiful part of the country referred to as the Switzerland of Africa. Enjoy the scenic views, and also the clear and fascinating views of the Virunga Mountains. Check into your lodge.

Day 2

BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK-GORILLA TRACKING

You need to be up early enough, have breakfast and drive to the park headquarters with packed lunch for briefing about the Mountain gorillas. After the briefing from your ranger, you will embark on the tracking activity. The time taken to track the gorillas can be as few as 2 hours to as many as 7 hours. Once the gorillas have been located, your group will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them. Coming face-to-face with a mountain gorilla is a truly humbling and emotional experience. This is a fantastic and privileged opportunity to get up close and personal with Uganda’s very own ‘Gorillas in the Mist’. This experience is very thrilling and has left many people wanting more. Return to your lodge and have the rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 3

BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK-QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

After an early breakfast, depart Bwindi impenetrable NP and drive to Queen Elizabeth National park via the Ishasha sector which is on the southern side of the park. This area is best known for its tree climbing lions as you drive to your hotel. You can also look out for other wildlife like the elephants, buffaloes and antelopes.

Day 4

QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK-GAME DRIVE AND BOAT CRUISE

We set out early in the morning for a game drive in the Northern part of the park on the Kasenyi Trail in search of lions, elephants, solitary buffaloes, warthogs among others, also watch out for baboons and monkeys. We have an excellent chance to view just about every animal here at very close range. Return to the lodge for your breakfast,

After lunch set off for a launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This gives you the opportunity to view wildlife up close: hippo’s huff and spray at a mere feet away from the boat, crocodiles swimming while others bask in the sun, buffalo linger in the shallows among others as they come to drink from the lake. The shores of the channel are also home to an array of birds including pink backed pelicans, pied and malachite kingfishers, saddle billed stork, the rare shoe bill, the Egyptian geese and many others.
